Who We Accept
Straight answers, so you know before you spend time on a request.
What Bridgeway is
A privately operated supportive housing provider running transitional and reentry programmes. Bridgeway holds no Indiana Department of Correction contract and is not a halfway house or work release facility. Placements are voluntary.
Programmes open now
Transitional Housing and Reentry Housing and Support. Resource navigation and case coordination come with both.
Not open yet
Women’s Safe House, Recovery Housing, and Veterans Transitional Housing are in development. Bridgeway will say so rather than take a request it cannot honour.

Bridgeway accepts people on probation, parole, and community supervision, and coordinates with supervising officers on address approval.

You do not need your client's full name to start. Initials and a situation are enough for Bridgeway to tell you whether there is a fit.
Bridgeway responds to every request, including the ones where the answer is no. Privacy Policy

Prefer to Talk First
Complicated case, or a placement pattern you want to set up properly rather than one request at a time? Book a call with the Bridgeway team.
Every request gets an answer, including the ones where Bridgeway has no bed. If a placement is time-sensitive, say so on the form or call (317) 480-1039 directly.

What information do you need to send a referral?
Your contact details, your client’s initials, which programme, and a target move-in date. Supervision status helps. Full identifying information is not required at first contact, so you do not need consent in place before finding out whether a fit exists.
What happens if a placement does not work out?
Bridgeway will contact you rather than leaving you to find out later. If a resident leaves, is discharged, or the placement fails for any reason, the referring agency hears about it.
Verify · discharge notification process and what gets shared
Will we get updates on a client we referred?
Bridgeway coordinates with referring agencies on placement and ongoing status where the resident has consented to that. What can be shared depends on the consent in place, so this gets confirmed during intake rather than assumed.
